Kathy is a multi-instrumentalist who specializes in Irish traditional music. Her love for Irish music was kindled in Chicago’s thriving Irish community, where she learned from flautist Noel Rice, took classes with Joannie Madden and Larry Nugent, and played with many of the era's most influential Irish musicians, including Liz Carroll and The Chieftains. Kathy has performed at festivals and venues around the country, including the North Carolina Folk Festival, the Milwaukee Irish Fest, the Chicago Celtic Fest, and many more. She also plays classical and jazz clarinet.
